Buying Firewood? What is a load?
Adverts for firewood often advertise by price per load. A load could be anything from a small pick-up load to a farm trailer load.
Buying by weight is often difficult as wood varies so much depending on type and moisture content. The best way to purchase logs is by volume. (Cubic meter).
A small pick-up could hold as little as 1 cubic meter. Always ask what volume you are buying, and how long it has been seasoned.

A surcharge may be charged for part loads depending on locality and distance from base. Full loads outside the circle can be delivered but will incur an extra mileage charge.
